This is a hands-on field position for someone who is organized, dependable, professional, and comfortable traveling between multiple retail tent locations. The Zone Manager acts as the main support person for assigned operators, helping ensure each location is properly opened, merchandised, inspected, supplied, and reconciled at the end of the season. Position Dates Seasonal term: Approximately June 15, 2026 - July 15, 2026 Sales dates: June 25, 2026 - July 5, 2026 This position requires strong availability throughout the full season, including setup, opening day, daily operations, and post-season reconciliation. Compensation Pay is $18.00 per hour with a minimum of 40 hours per week for approximately 30 days. Approved seasonal resources may include a rental vehicle, gas card, petty cash for approved expenses, site documentation, extra POS equipment, signage, price sheets, and operator support materials. Territory You will be responsible for approximately 13 Phantom Fireworks locations, ranging from Saratoga Springs in the north to Newburgh in the south. This position requires regular travel throughout the assigned zone. Primary Responsibilities The Zone Manager will travel to assigned Phantom Fireworks locations to support operators and help ensure successful daily operations. Responsibilities include: Visiting assigned locations during product delivery and setup Helping operators prepare to open on time Confirming each site has appropriate inventory, signage, merchandising materials, and supplies Collecting and organizing daily paperwork Reviewing POS sales data and deposit paperwork Confirming operators are following opening and closing schedules Monitoring tent cleanliness, merchandising, signage, and customer-facing presentation Helping ensure each tent is set up according to applicable fire code requirements Completing site inspections and checklists during the season Shopping competitors and reporting findings Assisting with product returns and end-of-season reconciliation Counting product with operators after the season Submitting receipts and expense documentation This is not a desk job. The role may involve lifting, bending, stooping, walking through outdoor retail locations, assisting with setup, and working in seasonal weather conditions. Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who is: Reliable and available for the full seasonal term Comfortable managing multiple locations Organized with paperwork and daily reporting Professional when working with operators, property owners, inspectors, and company staff Able to follow procedures and hold others accountable Comfortable using basic technology, including POS reports and iPad-based inventory tools Willing to travel daily throughout the assigned region Able to work independently without constant supervision Calm under pressure and able to solve problems in the field Detail-oriented, especially with money, deposits, inventory, and compliance Retail, logistics, delivery, inventory, management, route supervision, event operations, or seasonal business experience is helpful but not required for the right candidate. Requirements Applicants must have: Valid driver's license Reliable transportation or ability to operate a company-provided rental vehicle Strong availability from approximately June 15 through July 15 Ability to travel between Saratoga Springs, Newburgh, and surrounding areas Ability to work outdoors and assist with physical setup needs Strong communication skills Ability to keep accurate paperwork and receipts Professional appearance and attitude Important Notes This is a temporary seasonal position with a high level of responsibility. The right person must be comfortable checking on multiple sites, collecting important paperwork, helping operators stay on schedule, and reporting updates to management. You will play a key role in helping each location open properly, operate professionally, and complete the season with accurate paperwork and inventory.
