Sales Manager/AE/SAE - Dresses/Sportswear

Our client, a leading women's apparel division within a New York-based fashion group is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales professional to support and grow wholesale business across department stores, chain stores, and off-price retailers. This role focuses on driving seasonal sales, managing key retail partnerships, and expanding distribution within the moderate-price dress and sportswear market. The team is open to hiring at multiple levels depending on experience, including Sales Manager, Account Executive (AE), or Senior Account Executive (SAE). This is a fast-moving opportunity with strong exposure to senior leadership, reporting directly to the President/Owner. Based 5x a week on-site in Midtown Manhattan. Key Responsibilities Manage and grow wholesale accounts across department stores, chain stores, and off-price retailers Drive seasonal and in-season sales performance for the dress division Develop new business opportunities and expand distribution channels Present seasonal collections to buyers and key retail partners Collaborate with internal merchandising and production teams to ensure alignment on assortments, deliveries, and execution Monitor sell-through performance and identify opportunities to maximize growth Maintain and strengthen relationships with key retail partners and buyers Participate in market appointments, line presentations, and sales meetings Qualifications Experience selling dresses or sportswear (moderate price point preferred) Wholesale experience required Established relationships with department stores, chain stores, and/or off-price retailers preferred Proven track record of driving revenue growth and managing multiple accounts Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills Highly organized with strong attention to deadlines and detail Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment Please submit your resume for consideration!
