Buyer Location: Denver, CO Salary: $75,000 $90,000/year Employment Type: Full-Time, Onsite Industry: Manufacturing Overview: Our client in the manufacturing industry is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Buyer to join their team in Denver, CO. This is a 100% onsite role with a business casual dress code. The ideal Buyer will be confident, flexible, and collaborative, with a strong business sense and the ability to separate work from personal dynamics. Key Responsibilities: As a Buyer, you will be responsible for the following core functions: Site Support (30%) Daily sourcing tasks and tool management Reading and assisting with Power BI dashboards-read and understand and then be able to update and create their own. Inventory planning and supplier database management using internal ERP and Power BI Update Microsoft Forms on a daily basis Vendor Sourcing & Communication (30%) Engage with a wide range of vendors Read, redline, and negotiate contracts with suppliers Interdepartmental Collaboration (20%) Participate in S&OP calls weekly Costing of materials and supplies Working on supplier scorecards Benchmark analysis or critical supplies Confirm invoice details including tariffs and base costs Analytics & Reporting (20%) Manipulate data using PowerBI and Excel Scrutinize purchase orders for accuracy and completeness Qualifications: To be successful as a Buyer, candidates must meet the following requirements: Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, or related field (retail buying degrees also considered) Minimum 2 years of experience in a purchasing/procurement role Proficiency in PowerBI dashboards and reporting Strong Excel skills including SumIFs, CountIFs, Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/HLOOKUP, CONCATENATE, IF/ERROR, and text-to-value recognition Experience with ERP systems (IFS preferred) Familiarity with Word and PowerPoint Valid passport for occasional travel between the US and Canada Preferred Skills (Pluses): Exposure to site/store operations Collaborative operations experience Ability to compare supplier pricing to market indices (e.g., lumber and labor) Culture Fit: The Buyer should be confident and open, with strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
