Buyer - Manufacturing & Machined Parts | 1st Shift We're looking for a detaildriven Buyer to join our growing team and help keep our manufacturing and machinebuilding operations running smoothly. In this role, you'll manage the procurement of machinery, equipment, tools, parts, raw materials, and services that support daily production. Pay: $36.00 - $38.00/hr Location: Centennial, CO Schedule: 1st shift, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, no weekends or overtime required. Job Description: Prepare purchase orders, solicit bids, and review requisitions for goods and services Source highquality materials and equipment at the best possible cost Ensure compliance with all purchasingrelated laws, regulations, and internal policies Research and evaluate suppliers for pricing, quality, reliability, service, and production capabilities Negotiate and administer contracts with vendors and suppliers Analyze price proposals, financial data, and supplier information to determine fair pricing Maintain accurate records of purchases, costs, deliveries, product performance, and inventory Write and review product specifications and maintain technical knowledge of purchased goods Develop and refine procurement policies, procedures, and bid processes Monitor contract performance and identify when changes or updates are needed Skills & Qualifications: 2+ years of Buyer or procurement experience Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems Strong supply chain management and vendor communication skills Experience initiating purchase orders and work orders Ability to read and interpret technical information and specifications Preferred Experience: Knowledge of machining operations and purchasing machined parts Quotation experience related to machining or manufacturing Understanding of machine tools, metals, castings, and industrial components Why You'll Love Working Here: 401(k) match up to 6% once direct Excellent medical, dental, and vision benefits with low deductibles Significant opportunities for growth, crosstraining, and career development A highly tenured, knowledgeable team that values collaboration and continuous improvement Be part of a global, expanding organization with a strong reputation and longterm stability Work Environment: This role supports a machinebuilding and manufacturing operation in a clean, temperaturecontrolled facility . Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Denver, CO. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $36.05 - $38.45/hr.
