Oak Grove: Oak Grove Racing, Gaming & Hotel (the "Property") is a newer facility in a high traffic area in the heart of Oak Grove, Kentucky, and across the street from a large Army post, Ft. Campbell. The Property is 10 miles from Clarksville, TN and less than 60 miles northwest of downtown Nashville, TN.
JOB SUMMARY
The F&B Cashier will ensure consistent quality products, responsible for the preparation and sale of all food items per menu standards.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide excellent guest service to both internal and external guests
- Greets guests approaching service area
- Responsible for preparing and selling all food items on the menu and handling all cash transactions.
- Responsible for the cleaning and sanitizing of all food service equipment used to prepare and serve the menu items.
- Must be able to operate all equipment in the stand.
- Maintain current knowledge of daily menus and prices
- Ensure proper stock of product and supplies needed for service
- Responsible for opening and closing inventories.
- Ensure the safety and security of employees and guests
- Performs clean-up duties in the stand to maintain the quality appearance of the work area, including cleaning equipment.
- Standing 8-10 Hours
- Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Knowledge of concession stand operations.
- Maintaining interpersonal working relationship among all personnel.
- All internal and external guests must be treated in a manner to ensure complete satisfaction. Always strive to exceed our guests' expectations
- Excellent guest service skills; ability to adhere to Company's Service Standards
- Able to interact with internal and external guests in a friendly/fast manner.
- Ability to work effectively with others
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment
- Oral and written communication skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and handle high pressure situations in an interruptive environment
- Available to work when needed, including weekends, holidays, and nights.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Customer Service or Food & Beverage experience is preferred.
- Able to obtain and maintain a valid Kentucky gaming/racing license
