Job DescriptionAre you passionate about animals and providing exceptional customer service? We're seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Veterinary Customer Service Representative to join our team in Santee, South Carolina. In this role, you'll be the friendly face and helpful voice of our veterinary practice, ensuring smooth daily operations while providing outstanding support to our clients and their beloved pets.
- Greet clients and their pets warmly, creating a welcoming atmosphere in our clinic
- Answer phone calls and emails promptly, addressing inquiries and scheduling appointments efficiently
- Check clients in and out, process payments, and review invoices accurately
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting reception area
- Triage client concerns and direct them to appropriate staff members
- Offer emotional support and clear communication during sensitive situations
- Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed
- Collaborate with the veterinary team to ensure seamless patient care
- Handle medical records with attention to detail and confidentiality
- Educate clients on basic pet care, preventive measures, and clinic policies
- At least 1 year of experience in veterinary reception or animal care preferred
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members
- Strong multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in computer systems and veterinary practice management software
- Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- Proactive problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Knowledge of veterinary terminology and basic animal behavior
- Empathy and discretion when handling sensitive situations
- Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development in the veterinary field
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in animal science or veterinary technology is a plus
