BARISTA
Job Description
We are seeking a friendly, and energetic Barista to join our team. The Barista Will be preparing and serving a variety of beverages and ready to eat options, while maintaining a clean and welcoming environment and excellent knowledge of the Resort's coffee and bakery offerings. They will ensure a branded and consistent product while maximizing profitability and creating an inspiring and memorable hospitality experience for the guest.
Responsibilities
- Grinding and brewing coffee
- Developing/maintaining expert knowledge of coffee
- Consistently providing well-crafted, beautifully presented and tasty beverages
- Taking client orders and receiving payment
- Speaking and interacting with both new and regular customers
- Maintaining a clean and sanitized working environment
- Following health and safety guidelines
- Being aware of and following operational policies and procedures
- Being punctual and maintaining regular and consistent attendance
- The ability to work flexible hours and shifts which may include early mornings, late nights, weekends and bank holidays
- Contributing to a positive work environment
- Uphold standards, procedures and controls
- Other duties as assigned by the Executive Chef and food and beverage managers
Qualifications
Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED required
- Excellent communication skills
- Willing to work evenings, weekends and holidays
- Proven self-starter (confident) and driven
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist and reach for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs
- Utah Food Handler Permit Required
- Knowledgeable/proficient in food and beverage laws/regulations for the State of Utah
The Resort functions seven days a week and 24 hours a day. All employees, both management and hourly, must realize, at times, it may be necessary to move an employee from their accustomed shift so support business demands.
