Shift Supervisor

Cardinal CG is currently seeking a Production Shift Supervisor at our Northfield MN Location. In this position, you will be responsible for supervising one of the most advanced technical coating lines with a team made up of both Utilities and Glass Handlers, as well as executing the shifts production schedule, ensuring that it is within the specifications set forth by the customer and Cardinal Glass.

Shift Available

Night Shift 6:50pm – 7:00am (12 Hour Rotating Schedule)

Responsibilities

• Promote continuous process improvement throughout the facility.
• Report production related information regarding yields, efficiencies, and other metrics to management.
• Train team members on rules and regulations, safety, and standard operating procedures.
• Observe and monitor production operations and equipment to ensure efficient production flow.
• Read production schedules, prioritize and determine product needed according to customers specifications.
• You will be required to help with running all equipment, as well as assisting with handling glass.

Requirements

• 3-5 years working in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Forklift certification or experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize workload.
• Effective problem solving and organizational skills with an emphasis on attention to detail.
• Read, write and understand standard and metric measurement units.
• Ability to operate and use hand tools, power tool and measuring instruments.
• Basic knowledge of computer software, including Windows/Word/Excel.
