Cashier Cage

WHAT YOULL DO

As a Cage Cashier you will process accurate customer and inter-departmental monetary transactions while providing excellent guest service. All duties are to be performed in accordance with federal, state, local laws, regulations, and ordinances, as well as department and Company policies, practices, and procedures.

ROLE EXPECTATIONS

• Responsibilities include, but are not limited, to the following:

• Redeem guests chips, slot machine tickets, complete cash for cash exchanges.

• Accept marker payments and front money deposits. Issue cage markers and customer deposit withdrawals.

• Utilize computer terminals to complete chip purchases and ticket purchases (slot machine tickets).

• Perform credit / debit card transactions, handle exchange of foreign currency and chips.

• Maintain a bankroll by keeping transactions and paperwork organized.

• Adhere strictly to all Gaming Regulations

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

• No supervisory responsibilities for this position.

REQUIREMENTS

• At least six months experience in banking, casino cashiering or similar currency role.

• Ability to obtain & maintain full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules and regulations, policies and procedures.

• 21 years of age.

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

• Must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state and local regulations.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Must be able to work under time constraints and within established deadlines.

• Must regularly lift and/move up to 10 pounds, and must have the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces.

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Work is performed indoors in a climate-controlled environment and exposed to various environmental factors such as but not limited to noise, dust and smoke.

PAY RANGE

• The pay range for this position is $17.34/hour.
