Warehouse Associate

Our client, a leader in the industrial sector, is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate to join their dynamic team. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be an essential part of the warehouse operations supporting the logistics and supply chain team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Warehouse Associate

Location: Portsmouth, VA

Pay Range:

Shift: 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM

What's the Job?

• Operate forklifts, manual pallet jacks, and rolling pushcarts to move products efficiently within the warehouse.
• Inspect incoming products and verify accuracy against shipping manifests.
• Package and label customer orders with precision and care.
• Utilize computer systems to process receipts, putaways, picks, and replenishments.
• Assist in maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment by following safety protocols.

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to perform basic math, read, and understand written operating procedures.
• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs and stand or crouch for extended periods.
• Reliable transportation to work and availability for occasional overtime.
• Experience operating forklifts or willingness to obtain forklift certification (company provided).
