Material Handler - Returns/Clearance/Recycling

Were looking for a Warehouse Forklift Operators to work with our client in Aberdeen, MD ! Earn up to $18/hr, with a leading American furniture store chain known for its affordable living room, bedroom, and dining room furniture.

Pay Rate: Earn up to $18/hr.

Available Shift Times:

• 2nd Shift: Mon-Fri 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM with OT on Sunday as needed

Minimum Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years of warehouse experience including leadership experience in a warehouse environment.
• Skilled at multi-tasking and managing competing priorities.
• Move product into proper location on the storage racks.
• Cooperate with team members to complete tasks and set goals
• Contribute to a company culture that champions honesty, integrity, diversity, and community

Physical Demands

• Able to sit, walk, stand, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, twist, push, pull, climb, balance, crouch, push and handle and move items weighing up to 50 lbs without assistance.
• Ability to move throughout all areas of the distribution center.
• Move objects up to 250 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodations
• Stand and walk continuously to perform job functions.
• Load clearance merchandise on trailer as instructed
• Kit clearance merchandise as instructed
• Inspect and ensure that merchandise is up to up to standards
• Report damages, discrepancies etc.
• Dispose of merchandise to be trashed as instructed
• Maintain trash locations (staging, aging, systematic location accuracy)
• Ensure clearance lanes/locations are well maintained (merchandise properly staged, locations are accurate)
• Assist putting away returned merchandise when needed
• Assist unloading returned merchandise when needed
• Assist picking outlet goods when needed
• Assist in all areas of the DC when needed
• Unload merchandise for store/outlet including receiving and new store set up merchandise
  • Inspection of merchandise for outlet when receiving
• Check inventory tags of product when received and either staged on floor or warehouse
• Properly stage merchandise in backroom (designated locations)
