SUMMARY OF THE JOB :

The Treasury Management Sales Manager is responsible for leading and developing a team of Treasury Management Sales Officers across Connecticut and Massachusetts, with specialized focus on commercial, resort, and municipal relationships. This role is accountable for driving deposit growth, enhancing client relationships, and elevating the profile of Treasury Management across Liberty Bank.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management for a team of 3–4 Treasury Management Sales Officers.

• Develop and execute strategic plans to grow treasury management revenue, core deposits, and relationship ROE.

• Partner closely with Commercial and Municipal Relationship Managers to develop actionable client relationship strategies.

• Build a strong internal network to elevate the visibility and utilization of Treasury Management solutions across the organization.

• Lead and participate in treasury management pricing events and ensure disciplined execution and follow-up.

• Drive integration of digital, electronic payments, liquidity management, card, merchant services, and collections solutions customized to client needs.

• Advise business owners, CFOs, and municipal finance leaders on optimizing cash flow, fraud prevention, and operational efficiency.

• Ensure consistent use and optimization of CRM and treasury platforms (Salesforce, Q2, ZSuite, escrow management tools).

• Collaborate with product, credit, and operations teams to deliver seamless treasury solutions.

• Represent Liberty Bank in industry associations such as the Association for Financial Professionals (AFP) and similar organizations.

Minimum knowledge/skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred) or equivalent work experience

• 7+ years of experience in Treasury Management or Commercial Banking, with demonstrated leadership experience.

• Proven success in developing primary banking relationships and driving core deposit growth.

• Strong working knowledge of treasury platforms including Q2, Salesforce, ZSuite, and escrow management systems.

• Experience integrating banking systems with accounting software platforms.

• Deep understanding of commercial, municipal, and specialty segments including resort/hospitality clients.

• Demonstrated success in consultative sales and solution-based client engagement.

• Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management capabilities.

• Active involvement or participation in professional treasury or finance organizations preferred.
