Position Summary
The Sales Inventory Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the sales and customer service teams by ensuring smooth operational processes. This position is responsible for managing forecasts, handling customer inquiries, and providing analytical and administrative support to sales representatives. Their efforts help create a seamless process from sales to operations while enhancing overall customer satisfaction and service delivery.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor s degree from an accredited four-year college or university preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in Sales or Customer Service, preferably within the food manufacturing industry.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong multitasking abilities with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficient in Excel spreadsheet analysis with strong mathematical and analytical skills.
Ability to identify and resolve problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions.
Strong time management skills in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to communicate effectively with clients and internal staff.
Excellent recordkeeping and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the Food/Beverage or Consumer Packaged Goods industry preferred.
Strong analytical experience using Microsoft Office applications.
Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
Strong sales and customer service background.
Ability to analyze consumer data to optimize sales efforts.
Knowledge of food industry trends and regulations.
Ability to collaborate cross-functionally to develop commercialization processes.
Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
Essential Responsibilities
Enter forecasts for core customers on a daily basis.
Calculate forecast implications related to supply chain operations and inventory turnover.
Update forecasts for emerging customers as needed and make recommendations based on trends, seasonality, and product availability.
Analyze customer timelines to ensure successful execution and customer satisfaction.
Utilize customer sales and SKU information from MRP systems.
Conduct inventory assessments to ensure alignment between forecasted and non-forecasted customers.
Track sales versus forecasts proactively to identify gaps and implement corrective actions for under/over consumption.
Attend pre-production meetings to support smooth new item implementation.
Compile weekly sales data to evaluate forecast adherence.
Identify and resolve process gaps to ensure continuity of supply.
Conduct risk assessments for new kits to ensure customer demand aligns with production and purchasing requirements.
Document process improvements and customer changes to create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Analyze customer trends and seasonality data to minimize volatility and improve forecasting accuracy.
Recommend improvements for existing products, new product launches, and product phase-outs.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to maintain alignment.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Regularly required to talk and hear.
Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, and use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects and reach with hands and arms.
Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
