National Sales Manager, Ultra Tec & RailFX

The National Sales Manager will develop and implement effective sales strategies, supervise the field sales force, drive specifications, and build long-term customer relationships to help achieve the company's growth goals within the channel. The NSM will use knowledge of sales processes and the product line to provide innovative and effective ideas to grow the business. Needs to have and foster excellent internal and external communications skills, working with the Inside Sales/Customer Service Manager to help grow the quantity and quality of customers, specifications, and users of our products primarily in the metal fabrication channel.
Essential Functions
Develop and implement effective sales strategies.
Evaluate & determine best employee/rep mix of to achieve field sales coverage and growth.
Establish productive and professional relationships with key personnel at key accounts.
Create and foster excellent team environment with inside sales/customer service / Carson City Operational Planning.
Responsible for internal quote training, focused on take-offs from prints or higher difficulty specifications and checking or generating quotes as needed.
Present lunch-n-learns to Architects and train others to do so to grow our database of knowledgeable specifiers.
Run contractor events or train-the-trainer activities.
Establish and maintain on-going client relationships to best support overall company success.
A lead figure in trade shows primarily targeting the fabrication channel.
Create interest and help close projects by focusing on related segments such as multi-family, commercial, government, builders, etc.
Work closely with the TCC Marketing & Product Manager to identify and support efforts to grow our business.
Managing a Customer Service Lead and department on an on-going basis to help create and maintain the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
Collaborate with Nationwide Industries team to increase engagement and manage OEM business across North America, expanding reach of Ultra-Tec Sales team.
Create culture when all leads and opportunities will be tracked in Salesforce.com, increasing project pipeline and close rates.

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
Position Type/Expected Hours of WorkSome flexibility in hours is allowed, but the employee must be available during the core work hours of the day to respond to both customers and the office staff. Should work a minimum of 40 hours each week to maintain full-time status. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. Various amounts of travel are required as needed.
Required Education and Experience
Bachelor's Degree.
5+ years sales management or leadership experience in building products or related field.
Strong proficiency with MS Office including Word, Excel and Outlook
