Parts Counter Sales Representative

Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Parts Counter Sales Representative to join our dealership team. The ideal candidate will assist customers and technicians in identifying, sourcing, and purchasing automotive parts while providing exceptional customer service. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist retail, wholesale, and internal service customers with parts inquiries and purchases.
• Accurately identify and source parts using electronic catalogs and manufacturer systems.
• Process parts orders, invoices, returns, and warranties.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and assist with stock replenishment.
• Collaborate with service technicians to ensure timely parts availability for repairs.
• Promote additional products and services when appropriate.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional parts department.
• Receive, inspect, and stock incoming parts shipments.
• Follow dealership policies, procedures, and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive parts sales or dealership experience preferred.
• Knowledge of automotive systems, components, and parts catalogs.
• Strong customer service and sales skills.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Basic computer proficiency and experience with dealership management systems is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on your feet throughout the day.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

• Pay $16 - $20 per hour depending on experience with monthly bonus opportunities

Hours

• Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Every other Saturday 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. plus 1 additional day off every 4 weeks.
