Amphenol High Speed and Commercial Products Groups are market leaders inhigh-speed, high-bandwidth electrical connectors for Telecom/Datacom and diversemarkets (Mobile Networks, Storage, Servers, Routers, Switches, etc.). Ourinnovative interconnect solutions enable next-generation technologies andsupport the electronics industry worldwide. We are currently seeking a RegionalSales Manager to support our Tier 2 / Tier 3 accounts.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) is responsible for driving revenue growth anddesign-win activities within a customer-defined region made up of on Tier 2 andTier 3 accounts. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on technicalsales engagement. You will lead and develop a regional sales team, manage directand indirect sales channels, and work closely with customers, Field ApplicationsEngineers, and internal product teams to deliver innovative interconnectsolutions.

As the Regional Sales Manager, you will develop and execute regional sales plansaligned with global objectives and ensure achievement of sales budgets. You willmanage selling expenses including headcount, travel, and regional costs, whilemaintaining accurate monthly forecasts and latest estimates.

Recruit, manage, and mentor sales team members to improve performanceAnalyze and coach the team to achieve individual and regional goalsCreate account plans for Tier 2 and Tier 3 customers and ensure adequatecoverage within budgetIdentify and develop new accounts consistent with company objectivesPromote and sell Amphenol products to established customers and newprospectsDrive design-win activities by working with customer engineering teams tointegrate Amphenol solutionsCollaborate with Field Sales Engineers, Field Applications Engineers, andBusiness Units to support technical aspects of the sales cycleBuild strong relationships with management teams at strategic accountsTrack orders, revenue, and design-win progress by accountMaintain a thorough understanding of market trends and competitive landscapeKeep informed of new products and industry developmentsTravel to customers in the Bay Area, as well as manufacturing facilitiesglobally, and various other customer office locations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Marketing, or Business5+ years of sales and marketing experience in the electronics industry,ideally with interconnect solutions3+ years of sales leadership experience, managing a team of Salesprofessionals in a fast-paced environment, ideally within technicalcomponent-level salesDemonstrated experience leading and participating in high-performing formaland informal cross-functional teams on a regional and global basis.

SKILLS:

Strong leadership and organizational skills to manage regional objectivesAbility to communicate effectively across engineering and managerialfunctionsTechnical aptitude to understand interconnect solutions and customer designchallengesProven ability to negotiate design wins, contracts, and strategicpartnershipsSelf-motivated with strong analytical and business skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with CAD tools (Pro E orSolidWorks) is a plus

The base salary range for this position is $117,734 - $187,300 USD annually.In determining rate of pay, Amphenol considers a variety of nondiscriminatoryfactors, including but not limited to geographic location, relevant industryexperience, qualifications, skills, and education. It would be rare for anindividual to be hired at or near the top of the range for a given role. Basesalary is one facet of Amphenol's total rewards package which includesparticipation in our comprehensive benefits program with medical, dental, andvision benefits effective day 1, vacation, sick leave, personal days, paidholidays, life insurance, short/long term disability, and matching 401K. OurRegional Sales Managers are also eligible to participate in an annual incentivebonus program and provided with a company vehicle.
