Key Responsibilities

- Lead HVAC service sales operations to drive revenue growth, gross profit performance, and overall business profitability.
- Develop annual operating budgets, support long-range business planning, and monitor KPIs to identify improvement opportunities.
- Oversee service sales initiatives related to maintenance agreements, repairs, retrofit projects, and new client acquisition.
- Review contracts, pricing strategies, estimates, scopes of work, and risk factors for complex HVAC service opportunities.
- Recruit, onboard, train, mentor, and develop team members while supporting retention and succession planning.
- Collaborate with operations, construction, field service, HR, executive leadership, customers, vendors, and subcontractors on escalated matters and business priorities.

Compensation and Benefits

- Salary range: $110,000 to $140,000 per year.
- Direct hire opportunity.
- Full-time, exempt position.
- Standard Monday through Friday schedule.
- Limited travel required, with occasional overnight travel.
- Office and field-based work environment.

- Manage budgets, financial performance, cash flow, billing, collections, forecasting, and business planning.
- Oversee sales team performance, recruiting, training, coaching, retention, and employee development.
- Review complex HVAC service opportunities, including pricing, estimates, contracts, scope, risk, and resource allocation.

- 10+ years of experience in HVAC service sales, sales management, and operational leadership.
- Strong background in HVAC service, maintenance, retrofit, or mechanical contracting environments.
- Demonstrated P&L responsibility and ability to manage revenue, gross profit, profitability, and key business metrics.
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, mechanical equipment, technical service requirements, and project considerations.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, billing, collections, financial reporting, and operational planning.
- Proven ability to lead, mentor, coach, and develop professional sales and service teams.
- Strong contract review, pricing strategy, estimating, scope review, and risk assessment skills.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, problem-solving, and customer service abilities.
- Strategic, analytical, results-oriented, collaborative, and adaptable leadership style.
- Ability to work effectively with field service, operations, construction, HR, executive leadership, customers, vendors, and subcontractors.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in both commercial and residential HVAC service environments.
- Established knowledge of the Seattle-area mechanical services or construction market.
- Experience growing service agreement portfolios and retrofit revenue within a mechanical contracting organization.
- Strong track record improving sales processes, team performance, operational efficiency, and customer retention.
