(Primary Location for Job Responsibilities) Our Kennesaw campus is located at 1000 Chastain Road NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144.
Our Marietta campus is located at 1100 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta, GA 30060.
Job Summary
Responsible for the selection and procurement of supplies, equipment, and technology-related products, peripherals, and accessories to support educational and organizational needs.
Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: -
1. Selects and procures academic, instructional, and departmental supplies for resale in support of campus needs
2. Sources and purchases technology products, including Apple devices, PCs, peripherals, and accessories, to support faculty, students, and institutional operations
3. Selects and procures health and beauty items, along with novelty and campus focused merchandise
4. Oversees stocking and merchandising of retail inventory, ensuring compliance with institutional standards for signage, pricing, and presentation
5. Ensures accurate and effective product representation across the institution's e-commerce platform
6. Provides operational and logistical support for campus and departmental events, including Commencement celebrations, athletic events, open houses, orientations, and literary and promotional events, etc.
7. Conducts cycle counts and assists with annual inventory processes in accordance with institutional guidelines
8. Supports the hiring, training, scheduling, and supervision of student assistant staff, contributing to student development and employment experience
9. Assists department management with daily sales floor operations and supervision to ensure a positive campus retail experience
Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Other Required Qualifications
Current, valid, and unrestricted driver's license
Required Experience
Two (2) years of relevant work experience
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred Educational Qualifications
An undergraduate or advanced degree from an accredited institution of higher education in a related field
Preferred Experience
Previous retail, buyer, or procurement experience
Previous management or supervisory experience
Proposed Salary

Able to develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and campus partners to ensure the product needs of faculty and students are met
Able to handle multiple tasks or projects at one time meeting assigned deadlines
KNOWLEDGE
Knowledge of supply chain management to support academic and campus operations, including procurement, inventory management, and supplier coordination in alignment with institutional and department policies and procedures
SKILLS
Excellent interpersonal, initiative, teamwork, problem solving, independent judgment, technology, organization, communication (verbal and written), time management, project management and presentation skills
Proficient with computer applications and programs associated with the position (i.e., Microsoft Office suite)
Strong negotiation skills
Strong attention to detail and follow up skills
Strong customer service skills and phone and e-mail etiquette
