Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

Maintain inventory control, sustainment, replenishment and issue of hazardous material (HAZMAT) line items.

Provide customer service support for the HAZMAT program to include activities such as fulfilling customer requests, stowage and compatibility considerations, provide necessary documentation to support procurement, and all disposal/disposition of HAZMAT activities.

Research and gathers all Safety Data Sheets (SDS) in support of HAZMAT program.

Maintain and inspect all HAZMAT spaces and keep them within Navy standards for inspections.

Qualifications

License to operate a forklift

Complete and maintain HAZMAT required training through Environmental Compliance Assessment, Training and Tracking System (ECATTS).

Minimum five years’ warehousing and inventory management experience within the Department of Defense (DoD).

Minimum one year’s experience managing HAZMAT.
