Material Handler

Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing and logistics industry, is seeking a Material Handler to join their team. As a Material Handler, you will be part of the warehouse operations supporting production, shipping, and quality assurance teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Material Handler

Location: Buffalo Grove, IL

Pay Range: $20.21

Shift: 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm (Second Shift)

What's the Job?

• Pick up boxes weighing up to 55 pounds and ensure proper placement on carts and pallets
• Stack boxes efficiently and accurately for shipment or storage
• Read, count, and verify product details using scanners and calculators
• Support material movement using pallet trucks and other handling equipment
• Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy and support warehouse operations

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 6 months warehouse picking experience
• Ability to lift up to 55 pounds, with assistance if needed
• Comfortable standing for long periods and walking around the facility
• Good attention to detail and ability to read and count accurately
• Willingness to work on your feet all day and follow safety protocols
