Buyer

Our client is looking for a savvy Buyer to join the team immediately in a temp role.

Seeking a Buyer to support procurement and inventory execution across finished goods, packaging, and external manufacturing partners. This role will oversee purchase order activity, maintain accurate purchasing data, coordinate with vendors on shipment timing, and partner with planning, operations, and sourcing teams to ensure smooth product flow.

The ideal candidate brings experience in purchasing or supply chain within consumer products, is comfortable working in ERP systems, and can manage detailed transactional work while building strong supplier relationships. This person should be organized, responsive, and able to operate effectively in a fast-moving environment.

• Manage purchase orders and supplier communication
• Monitor deliveries, lead times, pricing, and order accuracy
• Support inventory and production requirements with internal teams
• Contribute to supplier performance and purchasing process improvements
• Place, edit and manage POs
• Communicate consistently with vendors
• Investigate any invoice discrepancies and work to resolve
• 3+ years buying experience within CPG
• Savvy within NetSuite or related ERP and ability to quickly learn new programs
• Strong retail math skills and experience within Excel / Google Sheets
• High level of attention to detail
• Problem solving mentality
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
