Bakery Clerk - Van Til's

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Bakery Clerk activities :

• Assists customers
• Stocks and rotes product
• Inspect bakery products for freshness
• Faces merchandise in the department
• Cuts open boxes with a box cutter

Other activities:

• Takes orders
• Builds displays
• Cleans/sanitizes department, back room and cooler/freezer
• Receives delivers and arranges stock in cooler/freezer
• Prepares and packages product

Minimum Requirements: A positive customer service titude & pleasant personality, effective memory skills, good hand eye coordinion, dependability, ability to follow directions & a strong willingness to learn.

Work environment: Normal exposure to weher and temperure extremes. Exposure to cooler and freezer do not exceed 1 hour a time.
