In this role you are an integral part of our supply chain, assuring our stores have the products they need to stock our shelves and meet customer demand. Responsibilities:

• Accurately pick, scan, stack and place selected cases on pallets safely and efficiently; minimizing product damage, maximizing trailer space and assuring cold chain and quality standards are met
• Safely operate equipment necessary to perform job duties; including but not limited to forklift, pallet jack, VoCollect headset and other computerized picking equipment and systems (training provided)
• Communicate effectively and timely with management and team in a fast-paced environment
• Work in and be exposed to various temperatures/environments (Ranging from -20 degrees F in frozen area, to 85 degrees F in the warehouse)
• Lift 2025 pounds, with maximum weight lifted greater than 50 pounds occasionally to frequently

Experience operating a VoCollect; Experience operating forklift; Food distribution center experience; Work environment: The physical demands of this work are classified as heavy. Work includes prolonged walking and standing and frequent heavy lifting, repetitive hand and arm movements, bending and reaching, including reaching and lifting above shoulder height, in order to assemble store orders in a variety of warehouse settings in a fast paced environment. Work includes moving containers or cases onto pallets and/or into shipping containers for distribution to the stores. The average weight range of items lifted is 20 25 pounds with maximum weight lifted greater than 50 pounds occasionally to frequently. May receive assistance with heavy items, if available. Upper extremity repetition is moderately high and trunk movement involves moderately high to high twisting, bending, and pivoting. May be exposed to various allergens (things that may cause an allergic reaction). The work environment is indoors. Basic tools and equipment used include powered pallet jack, pallets, fork truck, pallets, shipping containers and labels, computerized picking system, and headset.; Experience working in a Distribution or Manufacturing environment; Warehouse experience; Experience operating a pallet jack
