Summary: The Warehouse Manager/Purchasing Agent will oversee purchasing, warehouse operations, inventory management, logistics coordination, and material procurement activities supporting construction and mechanical projects. This role is responsible for ensuring materials are ordered accurately, delivered on time, managed within budget requirements, and coordinated efficiently to support successful project execution. As a Warehouse Manager/Purchasing Agent, You Will: Receive and process material requests from field personnel and project teams Purchase materials and equipment from approved vendors while ensuring timely delivery to job sites Review pricing against project estimates to maintain budget compliance and cost control Collaborate with project managers to identify cost-saving opportunities and negotiate vendor pricing Maintain strong vendor and supplier relationships supporting quality, pricing, and service performance Utilize ERP systems to generate purchase orders, track inventory, and maintain purchasing documentation Supervise warehouse operations including receiving, staging, inventory control, and material organization Coordinate deliveries using internal drivers and vendor logistics providers Optimize delivery schedules and routing to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs Lead warehouse personnel and drivers while ensuring productivity, safety, and operational performance Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and yard environment Enforce safety procedures and best practices for material handling, storage, and transportation Qualifications: 3+ years of warehouse management, purchasing, procurement, or related experience required Construction, plumbing, piping, or mechanical trades industry experience preferred Strong understanding of purchasing, inventory control, budgeting, and cost management Experience with ERP systems such as Vista Viewpoint or similar platforms preferred Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced operations environment Leadership experience supervising warehouse personnel and drivers required Valid drivers license with a clean driving record required Education: High School Diploma or GED required Associates degree or additional technical training preferred Benefits: Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401(K) Retirement Plan Paid Time Off Paid Holidays Career Growth Opportunities Salary: $75K-$90K Ask for: Hersha Dwyer Job Id: 26318 Ajulia Executive Search is a New Jersey based Executive Search Firm specializing in retained searches in multiple sectors, including Manufacturing, Finance, IT, Legal, and Pharmaceutical.
