Job Title: Inventory Clerk Location: Romeoville, IL Hours: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM + OT (as needed), train on Mid Shift Pay Rate: $20.25 per hour Job Description: The Inventory Clerk is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy by verifying all inbound and outbound orders. This role ensures inventory entries and adjustments are accurately reflected in the Warehouse Management System (WMS) in accordance with established policies and procedures. The position plays a key role in supporting a clean, safe, and efficient warehouse environment while contributing to productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction through accurate execution of distribution processes. Responsibilities: Adhere to all company policies, SOPs, safety, and environmental guidelines Maintain accurate inventory records within the Warehouse Management System (WMS) Perform daily inventory management tasks and cycle counting activities Coordinate and support physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies Process inventory adjustments for overages, shortages, damaged, or defective products Count, verify, and audit inventory using paperwork or RF devices (RFT) Ensure product quantity, quality, labeling, and addressing meet customer requirements Operate material handling equipment (MHE) to transport products/orders as needed Perform Value Added Services (VAS), including labeling, repacking, and documentation Separate and process shipments by carrier and service type accurately Report all non-conformances and inventory discrepancies promptly Support dock, inspection, and general warehouse functions as needed Follow leadership direction and participate in labor sharing across departments Assist with continuous improvement initiatives and warehouse housekeeping Perform other duties as assigned based on business needs Requirements: 1-2 years of experience in warehouse, distribution, supply chain, or inventory control preferred Inventory Experience Required Forklift experience required (Cherry Picker & Reach Truck) Experience using RF devices (RFT), WMS, and warehouse systems preferred Strong attention to detail and accuracy in counting and data entry Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical warehouse tasks for extended periods Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment and lift materials as needed High School Diploma or equivalent required Must be 18 years or older Must be eligible to work in the U.S. Must be willing to submit to a drug screen Must be willing to submit to a background screen Who you'll be working for: Masis Staffing is a family-oriented, service-driven staffing firm with a sincere and responsible team dedicated to delivering custom solutions for all client hiring needs.
