Hair Stylist needed to assume 2 full clienteles

MINT was created as a space where stylists can come together, feel inspired, get creative, and truly feel supported. Its more than a salonits a community built to grow together.

We have low turnover, these are rare chair openings. We are two large clienteles for the right ambitious stylist to take over.

MINT is a leasing salon but likes to work as a team and collaborate together. This creates a friendly, non competitive environment. We have an upbeat, experienced and great team to work with in Ballard. Fun co-workers, and friends outside of the salon too.

Mint offers rental or reverse commission opportunities. Part time, Full time, or flex by the day options available. A sliding scale commission on retail products sold.

MINT has a large clientele, and a steady stream of new clients that will fill your books, plenty of opportunity to build a strong clientele.

MINT is located close to a bus line, paid street parking, as well as a parking lot next door, plus some free all day parking in the neighborhood.

Full time $1,150/month (~$265/week) dedicated chair, full locker
Part time (34 days/week) $750/month (~$173/week) chair shared on off-days, half locker
Part time lite (2 days/week) $500/month (~$115 a week) chair shared, half locker
Flex / hot seat $80/day rolling cart only, book in advance

Requirements-
- Valid cosmetology license
- Proven experience as a Cosmetologist
- Strong knowledge of color theory and hair care products
- Proficiency in using salon software for scheduling and inventory management
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of sanitation and hygiene practices in the salon industry
- Experience with retail sales and upselling products to clients
- Familiarity with store management procedures is a plus
- Tidy and Clean work style
