R. J. Corman is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and safety-focused individual to join our team as an Inventory Manager based out of Nicholasville, KY. This position plays a critical role in supporting Material Sales operations by managing inventory, coordinating material movement, and ensuring customer needs are met efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all inventory operations including storage, shipping, and receiving of materials
- Support Material Sales yards with inventory needs and daily operations
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate purchasing, relocation, and disposal of materials
- Work with internal and external customers on inventory forecasting and material planning
- Maintain accurate documentation and update tracking systems for customers
- Build and maintain vendor relationships
- Assist with ordering materials and resolving inventory issues
- Support continuous improvement of inventory processes and material flow
- Communicate with field personnel to coordinate proper delivery of materials
- Maintain a strong focus on safety in all operations
What does it take to be an Inventory Manager for R. J. Corman?
- Experience in inventory management, shipping & receiving, or material coordination
- Strong understanding of inventory systems or MRP processes
- Ability to multi-task, analyze data, and solve problems efficiently
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with multiple teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Associate’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience preferred
- Ability to occasionally travel as needed
Work Environment:
- Primarily office/shop environment with some warehouse interaction
- Occasional exposure to moving equipment and material handling operations
- Some exposure to outdoor conditions may occur
- Limited lifting (generally up to 20 lbs)
