We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in Retail Socio-Economic Classification (SEC) to lead software development projects within our retail sector. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of retail business dynamics and be adept at managing complex projects that drive business value and enhance customer experience. This role requires a strategic thinker who can navigate the intricacies of retail operations while ensuring timely delivery of software solutions.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage software development projects from initiation to closure, ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder expectations.
Utilize Retail Socio-Economic Classification knowledge to inform project decisions and strategies, enhancing project outcomes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, development, and marketing, to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
Monitor project progress, adjusting plans as necessary to ensure successful completion within budget and on schedule.
Facilitate regular project meetings, providing updates to stakeholders and addressing any issues that arise.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in project management and software development.
Mentor and guide junior project managers and team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Mandatory Skills:
Strong knowledge of Retail Socio-Economic Classification (SEC) and its application in project management.
Proven experience in managing software development projects within the retail sector.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering results.
Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
Preferred Skills:
Experience with retail analytics and data-driven decision-making.
Familiarity with emerging technologies in retail, such as e-commerce platforms and mobile applications.
Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.
Experience in change management and stakeholder engagement strategies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
10-15 years of experience in project management, with a focus on retail software development.
Demonstrated success in leading complex projects and delivering high-quality results.
Strong understanding of retail business processes and customer behavior.
The pay range for this role is $130K - $135K per year including any bonuses or variable pay.
