Sunday, Monday, Tuesday from 8:00am-4:30pm
Wednesday, Thursday from 9:00pm-5:30am
The Quality Control Team Member is responsible for daily tasks covering Quality Control activities of the frozen, dairy, produce, floral, and meat consolidation operation.
Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Oversees all quality assurance processes while ensuring that food safety and sanitation standards are exceeded
Performs regular food safety and sanitation warehouse audits
Conducts inventory counts and reports any variances to Management
Verifies and validates company-accepted standards for presentation and quality of merchandise prior to Club delivery
Reports any issues or concerns related to safety, product handling, sanitation, or quality to Management Team
Offers suggestions to improve and streamline receipt and shipment processes for Club and Member acceptance of product
Follows proper process chain for handling of all date-specific product, including expiration dates and Julian date coding
Works in all areas of the warehouse/operation as needed and completes special projects as assigned
Job Requirements
Requires 1 to 2 years of experience in a warehouse or retail environment
Knowledge of food handling protocol, including sanitation and safety standards
Hands-on experience with inventory control and related procedures
Must be able to tolerate an environment with exposure to cold (temperatures below 40 degrees), noise, dust, and work around moving equipment
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. unassisted and up to 50 lbs. with assistance
Continuously meets productivity, quality, safety, and attendance requirements
Must have good written, math, organizational, leadership, and time management skills
Must conduct and maintain a professional attitude and neat appearance at all times.
Must have experience with computers and basic office equipment to ensure understanding of related programs and functions
