The Inventory Specialist plays an essential role in managing and maintaining inventory to support the reliability and efficiency of our medical device manufacturing operations. This position ensures accurate inventory control, timely procurement, and effective communication with vendors and internal teams.
Essential Responsibilities:
Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels
Conduct routine inventory counts, cycle counts, and audits to ensure inventory accuracy
Maintain and update inventory management systems, databases, and spreadsheets
Research and resolve discrepancies between physical inventory and system records
Prepare and distribute inventory reports and documentation for management review
Assist with receiving, labeling, stocking, and issuing inventory materials
Ensure compliance with company policies, inventory procedures, and safety standards
Complete inventory removal, transfer, and disposal documentation accurately and timely
Provide inventory support to Field Service personnel and Engineers by tracking, issuing, and replenishing required materials
Assist with purchasing and procurement activities as a secondary point of contact when needed, ensuring timely ordering and vendor coordination
Prepare and process documentation for inventory deviations, discrepancies, and adjustments resulting from planned or unplanned activities
Support audits, inventory counts, and other operational activities as required

Work Conditions:
This role is an in-office position at Stereotaxis St. Louis facility.
Ability to stand or walk for extended periods
Lifting boxes or materials up 35lbs
Exposure to warehouse or manufacturing environments
