Customer Service Representative - Order Processing

Overall Goal of Position:Provide top-tier service and support to our customers and SBI team.

Job Summary:Provides support by processing customer orders, answering inquiries by phone or email. Maintain up-to-date customer files, price lists and promotions. Communicates and works cooperatively with account managers and other individuals at all levels within the company. Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Order Management

Receive and process orders from customers by phone, email, and EDIInteract cross functionally with the Transportation, Finance, Manufacturing Operations, and Field Sales departments to ensure timely and accurate execution of ordersVerify pricing is accurate on orders.Provide accurate information regarding availability of in stock items

Customer and Consumer Support

Receive and process inbound consumer inquiries by phone and email.Maintain customer pricing files.Communicate with customers to keep them fully informed about service-related issues.

Sales Support

Generate and interpret sales and shipping reportsMaintain customer files in an organized systemFacilitate the flow of information related to master database records between the customer and SBIInterface with Company product data pools and image repositories as requiredFill a request for samples or sales material when neededAlert sales personnel about issues based on customer interactions

Education & Experience:

College degree or equivalent business experienceExperience in Food Distribution or Sales a plus
