What You'll Bring to the Team: Efficiency & Accuracy - Process customer purchases quickly and accurately while handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions with confidence. Customer Focus - Greet customers warmly, answer questions, assist with product inquiries, and provide support both in-store and over the phone. Teamwork - Collaborate with fellow team members to keep operations running smoothly and support one another during busy periods. Organization & Attention to Detail - Maintain a clean, stocked, and organized checkout area while helping ensure store accuracy and loss prevention. Dependability - Show up on time, ready to contribute, and maintain a professional, positive attitude throughout the day. Positive Energy - Represent Norfolk with friendliness, professionalism, and a commitment to exceptional service. Qualifications & Skills: Strong communication and customer service skills Comfortable working independently and as part of a team Basic computer and math skills Ability to assist customers with product-related questions 1+ year of cashier or customer service experience preferred Hardware or home improvement retail experience is a plus Physical Requirements: Ability to stand and move throughout the store for extended periods Comfortable using computers and register systems Occasionally lift or move up to 25 lbs.
