Produce Buyer Responsibilities: Place purchase orders based on sales forecasts and current inventory Monitor inventory reports to prevent out-of-stocks and overstock Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiating pricing and contracts Ensure all products meet food safety requirements and quality standards Analyze sales, pricing, and vendor performance for category optimization Collaborate with warehouse, logistics, and sales teams to resolve product flow or quality concerns Support promotional planning and the onboarding of new suppliers Produce Buyer Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or related field preferred 1-5 years of experience in purchasing, inventory, merchandising, or supply chain (food industry experience preferred) Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Ability to manage multiple priorities Strong communication skills Produce Buyer Benefits: Salary: $80 to $90k depending on qualifications Bonus eligibility up to $21k annually Healthcare, vision, and dental start after 90 days Company-matched 401(k) Vacation, personal, and sick time If you're looking for a company that truly cares about their associates through succession and growth, APPLY TODAY!
