Lupient Kia and Lupient Infiniti of Milwaukee, two of the region's premier automotive retailers, are looking for a skilled Used Vehicle Buyer/Acquisition Specialist to join their team. In this role, you'll source and acquire quality pre-owned inventory that meets the dealerships' financial guidelines and keeps the sales floor stocked with in-demand vehicles. You'll work across both the Kia and Infiniti locations on a flexible schedule, making this a dynamic opportunity for someone with a strong eye for vehicle value. Prior automotive dealership experience - or equivalent expertise - is required.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Identify and acquire high-quality used vehicles through various wholesale channels
Conduct thorough inspections and evaluations to determine vehicle value and condition
Negotiate purchase prices to ensure optimal profit margins while maintaining quality standards
Develop and maintain relationships with dealers, wholesalers, and private sellers.
Stay up-to-date with market trends and pricing to make informed purchasing decisions
Maintain accurate records of all acquisitions and transactions
Maintain positive supplier relationships
QUALIFICATIONS
Using VAUTO to appraise vehicles
Purchasing from wholesale sites and auctions
Contacting customers and purchasing their vehicles
Coachable and self-motivated individual
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with customers
Organized, analytical, and process oriented
Team player
