LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Procurement Manager in St. Louis, MO. This role is responsible for overseeing sourcing, purchasing, and supplier management activities to support production, operations, and business objectives. This role partners closely with manufacturing, operations, finance, and sales to ensure materials and services are available at the right cost, quality, and time.

Job Description:
Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with company goals and production requirements
Source, evaluate, and manage suppliers for raw materials, components, and indirect purchases
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to achieve cost savings and reduce supply risk
Monitor supplier performance related to quality, delivery, lead times, and compliance
Collaborate with production planning to ensure uninterrupted material availability
Maintain optimal inventory levels while minimizing excess and obsolete stock
Analyze market conditions, pricing trends, and supply chain risks
Act as an escalation point for supplier issues and resolve challenges proactively
Manage procurement budgets and track costsavings initiatives
Support continuous improvement efforts across procurement and supply chain operations
Qualifications
5+ years' experience preferred
Bachelor's degree is helpful, but not required
Handson experience with ERP/MRP platforms
Demonstrated strength in negotiation and vendor contract administration
Solid understanding of inventory management and production environments
Strong analytical, problemsolving, and communication skills
Prior leadership or team development experience
Knowledge of supply chain risk management and strategic sourcing
Pay Details: $100,000.00 to $125,000.00 per year
