LHH is currently seeking a Purchasing Coordinator/Buyer for our client in Phoenix, AZ. This is a great Contract-to-Hire opportunity to grow and expand your knowledge in purchasing and supply chain. The ideal candidate will have 1+ years of purchasing experience, excellent communication and ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Position Responsibilities:

• Maintain strong relationships and communication with vendors

• Create, process and manage purchase orders to meet sales demand

• Clear the work flow and ensure accuracy

• Maintain orders and inventory

• MUST have purchase order processing experience

• Work collaboratively with all departments to optimize ISO processes

• Coordinating with vendors

• Data input, high volume

• Integrate cross-functional projects with other departments

Requirements:

• Highschool diploma or GED

• 1 - 2 years of Purchasing administrative experience

• Adept communication skills; both verbal and written

• Strong problem-solving skills

• Work collaboratively with the team

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Schedule:

• Monday - Friday

• 8am - 5pm

• 40 hours a week

PAY: $23/hr-$27/hr depending on industry and years of experience. Preferably construction or manufacturing background but not required
