SV Microwave's Marketing Internship is an excellent opportunity for a college student or high school senior with an interest in manufacturing or the aerospace/defense industry to gain valuable experience with a global leader. As an intern, you will use various marketing disciplines to promote SV's products and services to existing and prospective customers. This is an on site, paid internship.
Responsibilities
- Use Canva or Photoshop to assist with advertising, including ad creation and placement
- Create and post original, organic social media content across a variety of SV's accounts (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and YouTube)
- Work with internal team and 3rd party agencies to create original advertising campaigns
- Manage advertising schedules, and placements with industry trade publications
- Track campaigns for effectiveness and report results to internal stakeholders
- Prepare internal training PowerPoints for sales team on latest NPI product
- Create external emails using MailChimp announcing new product in stock, as well as supporting collateral (like blogs)
- Support brand reach and awareness efforts by maintaining and building SV's presence on external 3rd party sites in advertising and distribution channels
Qualifications
- Pursuing a degree in or recently graduated from a marketing or related degree program
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and PowerPoint are a plus)
- Familiarity with social media platforms
- Good communication skills, both written and oral
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Problem solving expertise
Beneficial, but Not Required
- Interest in using social media to creatively express a brand's product
- Interest in video marketing
- Experience with editing software (Photoshop, Canva, Premiere Pro)
