Now Hiring - Retail Loss Prevention Officer (West County) Security compensation: 20.00 employment type: experience level: entry level job title: Retail Loss Prevention Officer West County | St. Louis, MO Starting Pay: $20.00 per hour We are looking for professional, reliable, and customer-service-oriented individuals to join our retail loss prevention team in West County. This position is focused on maintaining a strong visible presence inside the store, helping reduce theft, and creating a safe environment for both employees and customers. Available shifts include: 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM Some weekend availability is required. This is a uniformed, unarmed position inside a retail environment. Officers should be comfortable standing and walking for extended periods, interacting with customers, and communicating clearly with store management and team members throughout the shift. Responsibilities include: Monitoring the sales floor and store entrances Deterring theft and disruptive behavior through visible presence Observing and reporting suspicious activity Writing basic incident reports when needed Assisting store staff with safety and security concerns Maintaining a professional appearance and attitude at all times Requirements: 18 years of age or older Reliable transportation Good communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and stay alert Ability to pass a background check Previous retail, security, military, or customer service experience is helpful, but not required.
