Summer Marketing Intern-Summer Eats Program

The Spencer-East Brookfield Summer Eats Program is seeking a motivated and creative Summer Marketing Intern to support outreach and engagement efforts throughout the summer. This position plays a key role in promoting program awareness, increasing participation and capturing the impact of Summer Eats through various marketing channels. Key Responsibilities:Design, create, and distribute promotional flyers throughout the communityPlace and maintain yard signs in designated areas across Spencer and East BrookfieldTake photos during program activities and events for use in marketing and social mediaCreate and schedule engaging social media content, primarily for FacebookAssist with planning and promoting summer events and activitiesTrack participation trends and engagement related to events and activitiesSupport general outreach efforts to increase community awareness of the programQualifications:Strong communication and organizational skillsCreativity and interest in marketing, communications, or social mediaComfortable using social media platforms, especially FacebookAbility to work independently and manage time effectivelyReliable transportation to travel within Spencer and East Brookfield Experience with photography or graphic design is a plus, but not required

Job Requirements
Must be available to work Monday through Thursday for 20 hours per weekMust have a valid drivers license Must be able to pass background checks (Cori, Sori & Fingerprints)Attendance at a mandatory training session is required prior to the start of the programCompensation:$17.00 an hour plus mileage reimbursement at the end of the summer
