Job Summary:
Responsible for procurement execution and supplier development and management, ensuring the timely supply of required materials, equipment, and services, and effectively controlling costs.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for preparing, placing, and tracking purchase orders in strict accordance with procurement procedures to ensure timely supply.
- Ensure that purchased materials meet company quality standards and production requirements.
- Conduct market research on material quality, pricing, and supply trends, and collect and manage relevant data.
- Handle settlement, returns, and claims related to materials or services.
- Identify new supplier resources, assist in supplier evaluation and selection, and establish efficient communication channels.
- Analyze cost structures, participate in price negotiations, execute contracts, and control procurement costs.
- Complete other tasks assigned by the supervisor.
Work Experience/Education/Skills Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in industrial engineering (IE), Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related fields preferred
- Proficiency in both English and Chinese preferred
- CPPM preferred
- At least 3 years of procurement experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Familiar with manufacturing procurement processes; strong business communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong coordination and communication skills; able to collaborate across internal and external departments.
- Strong learning ability; able to quickly acquire and apply new knowledge.
- Strong information collection and analytical skills; able to identify key issues.
- Strong sense of responsibility and ability to work under pressure; honest and trustworthy.
- Good professional ethics and strong awareness of confidentiality
Physical Requirements/Work Environment:
- Work is primarily performed in an office environment.
- Ability to work at a computer for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in a fast-growing, dynamic environment.
- Traveling to customer sites and events (traveling up to 25%).
