Uptown Cheapskate is looking for a detail-oriented and driven Inventory Manager to join our team! We buy, sell, and trade trendy secondhand clothing and accessories, and this role is essential in keeping our inventory organized, accurate, and running efficiently.
Position Overview:
As Inventory Manager, youll oversee the flow of merchandise in and out of the store, ensuring proper organization, accuracy, and efficient product movement. Youll work closely with the buying team and management to maintain a strong, well-organized inventory system.
Responsibilities:

- Oversee product flow from buying to floor placement
- Ensure accurate tagging, pricing, and categorization
- Maintain backroom organization and efficiency
- Monitor inventory levels and identify gaps or opportunities
- Assist with merchandising and floor replenishment
- Support loss prevention and inventory control processes
- Train and guide team members on inventory procedures
- Minimum 1 year of retail experience
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, self-motivated, and team-oriented
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
- Management or leadership experience
- Experience in thrift, resale, or secondhand retail
- Experience with inventory systems or stock management
