PGA Merchandiser

PGA Merchandiser is responsible for overseeing the retail operations of a golf shop, including product selection, inventory management, merchandising displays, and customer service. This role supports the overall golf experience by ensuring the shop is visually appealing, well-stocked, and aligned with current golf trends.

Key Responsibilities:

• Curate and purchase golf apparel, equipment, and accessories based on customer preferences and seasonal trends
• Design and maintain visually appealing merchandise displays to maximize sales
• Manage inventory levels, track sales performance, and reorder products as needed
• Provide exceptional customer service, assisting golfers with product selection and fitting
• Coordinate with vendors and sales representatives to source new merchandise
• Organize promotions, sales events, and tournaments-related retail setups
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the golf shop
• Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems and handle transactions accurately

Qualifications:

• Experience in retail, merchandising, or golf operations preferred
• Knowledge of golf brands, equipment, and apparel trends
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Attention to detail and visual presentation skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
• PGA (Professional Golfers’ Association) affiliation or coursework is a plus
