Location preference will be discussed as part of the interview process.

As a Retail Intern, you’ll work sidebyside with experienced professionals, supporting daily branch operations while developing practical skills that will set you up for future career success.

This internship offers handson exposure to financial services, member engagement, and retail operations — all while contributing to our mission of strengthening financial wellbeing in the communities we serve.

About the Summer Internship Program

Our Summer Internship Program is a structured, immersive experience designed to provide meaningful, resumebuilding exposure to credit union operations, professional development, and community impact. The program runs 10 weeks, starting June 8th. Please note, to be considered, candidates must be currently enrolled in a college or university program and have full availability for the entire program, as the experience builds week to week through training, handson learning, and project work.

What the Program Includes

  • Structured onboarding and orientation, including systems training, workplace readiness, and program expectations
  • Handson work experience in an assigned branch or department, supporting daytoday operations and member service
  • Two oneday departmental rotations, allowing interns to explore different areas of the organization and potential career paths
  • Interactive learning sessions and workshops focused on transactions, systems, presentation skills, and professional development
  • A summer project designed to encourage critical thinking, innovation, and realworld problem solving, culminating in a final presentation
  • Networking opportunities with leaders, team members, and fellow interns
  • Participation in a community service activity, reinforcing our commitment to giving back

What You’ll Do

As a Retail Intern, you’ll gain meaningful experience by:

  • Assisting members with routine financial transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and loan payments
  • Learning how to identify member needs and introducing products and services that support their financial goals
  • Making sales referrals and promoting digital and alternative service channels
  • Building strong relationships with members by delivering friendly, solutionsfocused service
  • Supporting compliance and regulatory requirements while learning best practices in financial operations
  • Managing risk awareness in every transaction and helping identify potential fraud
  • Resolving routine member questions and providing clear, helpful information
