Service Assistant III Cashier Food & Nutrition Services Full-Time Union Hospital Cecil Campus

ChristianaCare is seeking a Full-Time Service Assistant III to join our Food and Nutrition Services team at Union Hospital . Schedule: Day Shifts | Must be available between 7:00 AM 5:00 PM
Weekend Rotations Required

• Operate Point of Sale (POS) systems and handle cash, credit, and dining card transactions.
• Reconcile cash drawers and sales at the end of each shift.
• Assist customers courteously and efficiently, ensuring accurate transactions.
• Maintain and sanitize beverage dispensing machines.
• Promote daily specials and contribute to customer satisfaction initiatives.
• Lead and support team members to ensure smooth operations.
• Follow safety, sanitation, and infection prevention protocols.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in food service or cashiering (6 months preferred).
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and operate POS systems.
• A team-oriented mindset and a commitment to excellence.
