Job Details Steingolds Bakehouse is looking to add to its growing team on Grand Avenue. As the Lead cashier the our most guest facing postion it is important to maintain a great relationship with our customers. Have a great knowledge of our savory and pastry menus. This postion requires a freindly and patient person who is willing to guide all guest through our extensive deli menu. Avalblity is very important we are currently operating Thursday - Friday - Saturday - Sunday from 7am - 2PM

• Processing sales transactions and taking payments

• Calculating the cost of products or services

• Calculating and returning change for cash transactions

• Maintaining adequate change denominations and requesting additional change

• Answering customer questions about products or services and providing recommendations based on customer needs and wants

• Cross-selling and upselling products

• Reconciling cash drawers and sales receipts

• Responding to and resolving customer complaints and concerns

• Processing layaways, returns and exchanges

• Maintaining clean and tidy checkout and merchandise areas

• Managing counts in Toast
• Communicating with Director of Operations and Culineary Director

• Assisting in stocking and rotating merchandise

• Great understanding of food menu and market items

• Staying up to date on merchandise promotions, advertisements and product information

• Ability to stand for 6 hours at a time.

Compensation Details

Compensation: Hourly ($20.00 - $22.00)
