We are searching for a friendly and engaging Customer Service Associate / Cashiers for our ST HELENA location. We are a drink-focused coffee shop and community meeting place. We always must demand the best in drink and food makingwe MUST always follow the methods and standards, as they are vital to our success. OUR original location is of historical significance to the community of Calistoga, as it's the last standing cottage in its original location built by Sam Brannan in 1857. OUR St. Helena location is new to us but not the local community as it is the oldest running St Helena coffee shop location. Our concept is to open what will be the best coffee shop experience in the Napa Valley. To have an offering that was unmatched by others in this space when it comes to drinks, food, and hospitality. To offer timely, quick, but meaningful service, where quality and commitment are felt in everything we do. To be a place of comfort and community, a place that pulls you back in day after day. To make our locals wake up and be excited to come to their favorite coffee shop in the morning and our visitors come in every time they come back to town. People should not only remember how good their coffee & food experience was after they leave, but also how courteous, informative, and polite you were. Requirements: Point of Sale (POS) experience. Food and Beverage Experience Training and willingness to continue learn Exceptional listening and communication skills. Ability to multitask, walk, bend, and stand for extended periods. Availability to work around peak hours, early mornings, weekends, and holidays. Excellent customer service and a polite and engaging personality. Commitment to customer satisfaction and service excellence. Responsibilities: Welcoming customers, informing them about specials or new items, answering questions. Selling Food, coffee, drinks and tea blends , highlighting the differences between items and educating customers about our methods. Cleaning and restocking work and dining areas, emptying trash, and sanitizing equipment and utensils. Learning about brewing methods, beverage blends, food preparation, and presentation techniques to improve quality. Working as part of a team. Adhering to all food safety regulations and quality controls. This position is a base Hourly Pay + tips and base will be dependent on experience level. Pay range is $22-$27 Total pay inclusive of tips. Vacation Pay and optional Health Insurance based on full-time status. Please note all shift are equal for tips as Tips are pooled between all shifts for both locations.
