Responsibilities
- Greets walk-in customers and determines the nature of their visit.
- Answers incoming phone calls. Directs caller to appropriate department or individual or takes a thorough message.
- Communicates with callers and visitors in a professional, friendly and efficient manner.
- Communicates messages to the appropriate parties in a timely manner.
- Assists with clerical duties as requested
- Assist Management in resolving complaints and all correspondence with customer.
- Receives monies and keeps accurate accounts of records.
- Uses documents such as sales slips, invoices, receipts, check stubs, and computer printouts to verify, allocate, and post details of business transactions in appropriate ledgers or computer files.
- Completes records to ensure accuracy.
Qualifications
- Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
- Able to perform basic math calculations
- Ability to multi-task
- Experience with point of sales systems
- Effectively handle customer service calls
