Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Guest Service Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional service and ensuring a positive experience. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle various tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide assistance with check-in and check-out procedures.
- Handle reservations and store transactions accurately.
- Respond to guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Promote hotel services and amenities through effective upselling techniques.
- Maintain knowledge of local attractions and events to provide guests with recommendations.
- Assist in supervising front desk operations and training new staff as needed.
- Manage phone calls professionally, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
- Perform product demonstrations when necessary to enhance guest experiences.
- Utilize retail math skills to assist with inventory management and reporting as required.

Skills

- Strong customer service orientation with a passion for helping others.
- Proficiency in cash handling and experience with POS systems.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on phone etiquette.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for transactions and reporting.
- Experience in supervising staff or managing front desk operations is a plus.
- Familiarity with product demos and upselling techniques to enhance guest engagement.
