Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a dynamic Territory Sales Representative to join a growing construction material supplier. This individual will play a critical role in expanding the company's market presence by developing a new territory from the ground up. The ideal candidate is a motivated sales hunter with prior experience in the building materials or construction supply industry.
Job Responsibilities:
Establish and grow relationships with distributors, dealers, general contractors/installers, and architectural firms.
Create and implement a strategic sales plan to expand customer base through prospecting and networking.
Gain comprehensive knowledge of the company's products and target customer applications.
Provide regular sales activity and pipeline updates to the management team.
Conduct product training for distributor representatives to increase visibility and sales volume.
Qualifications:
5+ years of B2B industrial sales experience, preferably in building supply or construction materials.
Excellent communication skills, adaptable to both jobsite and corporate settings.
Proficient with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
High energy, self-motivated sales professional who enjoys training others.
Willingness and ability to travel regionally and internationally, up to 80% of the time.
