Position Title: Assistant Warehouse Operations Manager
Reports to : Warehouse Operations Manager
Responsibilities
Assist with and execute daily warehouse duties under the direction of the Warehouse Manager, Procurement Manager, Executive Chef and Food Operations Manager.
Oversee the warehouse team and duties in the manager’s absence.
Assist in communication with vendors and other departments.
Remain knowledgeable and on the foresight of and managing in accordance with applicable local, state and federal laws.
Maintain a clean, safe and organized work environment.
Maintain efficient centralized warehousing operation by establishing control procedures for cataloging, inventory control, bulk storage and distribution of materials, equipment and supplies and assist in maintaining this supply system.
Ensure SSAfety standards are met by upholding training and daily operational expectations for department staff.
Supervise receipt, storage and distribution of supplies and equipment in large, centralized warehousing operations.
Supervise maintenance of facilities, material handling, equipment, and inventory warehousing control systems, manual or automated.
Ensure compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations. SRC
Perform other related duties, tasks and responsibilities as required from time-to-time Compile and submit regular reports of damage, outdated stock or supplies, over and under shipments, return of goods to vendor, etc.
Perform other tasks as deemed necessary.

Job Requirements
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to articulate to our team, Executive Chef, General Manager and HQ personnel as necessary.
Proven leadership skills with an understanding of the importance of team building/development, while fostering partnerships.
Exceptional problem solving/decision making skills combined with the ability to be organized.
Demonstrates organizational and planning skills.
Demonstrates the ability to remain flexible in a fast-paced environment.
Computer and/or inventory system knowledge.
Physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods and to move and handle boxes (35lbx – 50lbs or more) as necessary to operation, which entails lifting and perform all functions as set forth above.
Ability to work varied hours/days, including nights, weekends and holidays, as needed.
Driving company vehicle and/or golf cart within the scope of employment requires a valid driver’s license and is subject to a DMV check.
Previous Experience
One - Two years minimum in food warehouse supervisor experience preferred.
Background in receiving, storing, inventory and distribution of food & beverage in hotel, entertainment or cultural attraction venue a plus.
ServSafe or Food Certification a plus.
All education backgrounds eligible, must be 18 years or older.

Hourly, Non-Exempt. Pay is based on range in consideration of relevant job experience and certification/education
